Accession of an experiment or array design in ArrayExpress, the EMBL-EBI archive of functional genomics data, now a collection of the BioStudies database. It is a letter (E for an experiment, A for an array design), a hyphen, a four-character code of the submission route, such as MEXP or MTAB, a hyphen and a number.
