# Belgian establishment unit number (vestigingseenheidsnummer) (`be_establishment_unit_number`)

Vestigingseenheidsnummer (numéro d'unité d'établissement), the 10-digit number that the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (KBO/BCE) gives to each establishment unit of an enterprise: a place, such as a shop, office or school, where it carries out an activity. It differs from the enterprise number (be_vat): its first digit is 2 to 8, and it is usually written as 2.190.679.276. Like the enterprise number it ends with two check digits, 97 minus the remainder of the first eight digits divided by 97.
