# Bulgarian VAT identification number (`bg_vat`)

Bulgarian VAT identification number (ДДС номер). It is BG followed by 9 digits for legal entities or 10 digits for individuals, foreigners and others; a 10-digit number can be a personal number (EGN). The last digit is a check digit, with a different algorithm for each length.
