# BioProject accession (`bioproject_accession`)

Accession of a research project in BioProject, the project registry shared by NCBI, ENA and DDBJ. A BioProject groups the sequence reads, assemblies, samples and other data that one project deposits. It is PRJ, a letter for the issuing centre (N, E or D), one more letter and a number.
