Chain-agnostic identifier of a blockchain defined by CAIP-2: a namespace of 3 to 8 lower-case letters, digits or hyphens that names an ecosystem (eip155 for EVM chains, bip122 for Bitcoin-like chains, cosmos, solana and others), a colon and a reference of up to 32 characters that identifies the chain within it, such as the EIP-155 chain ID or the start of the genesis block hash.
