Number of a clinical trial in the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS), the system that supports running and supervising clinical trials in the European Union and the European Economic Area. It has 14 digits in four groups separated by hyphens (4, 6, 2 and 2 digits) and starts with the year, as in 2023-503698-40-00. CTIS numbers succeed EudraCT numbers, a separate datatype (eu_eudract).
