# French RIVOLI street code (`fr_rivoli`)

Code of a street, locality or housing estate within its commune in the FANTOIR file of the French tax administration: the four-character RIVOLI code and its check letter, as in 3086F. It is the last part of the FANTOIR identifier (fr_fantoir) and is unique only within one commune. The first character of the RIVOLI code tells the kind of way: a digit for a street, A for a housing estate or condominium, B to W for a locality (lieu-dit), X for a pseudo-street such as a canal or a metro station, Y or Z for a provisional street.
