# Generic Public Subscription Identifier (GPSI) of a 5G network (`gpsi`)

Public identifier of a 5G subscription that is used outside the 3GPP system, unlike the SUPI (3GPP TS 23.003). The service APIs of the 5G core (3GPP TS 29.571) write it as msisdn- followed by an MSISDN, or extid- followed by an external identifier of the form local-id@domain.
