# IATI-assigned organisation identifier (`iati_organisation_ref`)

Identifier that the IATI Secretariat generates for an organisation that has no identifier in a recognised registration agency, so that it can be named in IATI data. ORG-ID.guide lists the register as XI-IATI; with that prefix an identifier reads XI-IATI-IADB.
