# International Standard Identifier for Libraries (ISIL) (`isil`)

ISO 15511 identifier of libraries, archives, museums and related organisations. It has up to 15 characters: a prefix (a 2-letter country code or a non-national agency prefix), a hyphen and an identifier given by that agency. Letters, digits, hyphens, colons and slashes are used.
