# Dutch establishment number (KVK vestigingsnummer) (`nl_kvk_vestigingsnummer`)

Vestigingsnummer, the 12-digit number that the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce (KVK) gives to each location (vestiging) of a business registered in the Business Register, such as a shop, office or factory. It is not derived from the organisation's 8-digit KVK number (kvk). Organisations without a location, as many associations, foundations and owners' associations are, have none. The KVK API writes it with leading zeros.
