# OCI content digest (container image digest) (`oci_digest`)

Content identifier of the OCI image and distribution specifications, used for container images and their layers (as in image@sha256:...): the algorithm, a colon and the digest in lowercase hexadecimal. The registered algorithms are sha256 (64 digits, the default), sha512 (128 digits) and blake3 (64 digits).
