# ORG-ID.guide list code (organization identifier scheme) (`org_id_scheme`)

Code of an organization identifier list in the ORG-ID.guide register, such as GB-COH for Companies House or XI-LEI for the Global Legal Entity Identifier Index. The code is the ISO 3166-1 country code of the list (or XI, XM, XR or ZZ for international lists), optionally an underscore and a subdivision code, a hyphen and an abbreviation of the register. It is the prefix of an org_id identifier and the value of identifier.scheme in Open Contracting data. The registry maps each list code to a datatype record through mappings.orgid.
