# United Nations Standard Products and Services Code (UNSPSC) (`unspsc`)

Code from the UNSPSC taxonomy of products and services used in e-commerce and procurement. It has eight digits: two each for segment, family, class and commodity. Upper levels have their own codes ending in 00. An optional ninth and tenth digit give the business function, such as retail or wholesale.
