# TV Parental Guidelines rating (United States) (`us_tv_parental_guidelines`)

Rating of a television programme in the United States under the TV Parental Guidelines, which the broadcasters apply themselves and V-chip receivers read. There are six ratings: TV-Y (all children), TV-Y7 (children 7 and older), TV-G (general audience), TV-PG (parental guidance suggested), TV-14 (parents strongly cautioned) and TV-MA (mature audience only). TV-Y7-FV marks fantasy violence. The letters D, L, S and V for the kind of content can follow the rating; the regexp does not accept them.
