# Apple Developer Team ID (`apple_team_id`)

> **Draft.** Draft records have not been reviewed yet and may be incomplete or wrong; do not treat them as authoritative for legal or compliance decisions.

Ten-character string that Apple generates for each membership in the Apple Developer Program or the Apple Developer Enterprise Program. It is the organizational unit (OU) of the team's signing certificates, so code signing requirements refer to it as certificate leaf[subject.OU], and it prefixes App IDs (the application-identifier entitlement). Values in Apple documentation use uppercase letters and digits. The format alone matches many other 10-character codes, so use the field name or context.
