Number of a taxon concept in Species+, the UNEP-WCMC database of species listed under CITES that also powers the CITES Checklist; its web pages and API address taxa by it. Ids exist for taxa of every rank, from orders such as Passeriformes to species. A bare number of up to six digits: recognize it only with column context.
