# IdRef ID (SUDOC authority record) (`fr_idref_id`)

Identifier of an authority record (person, organisation, subject, work) in IdRef, the authority file of SUDOC, the union catalogue of French university libraries. It is the PPN of the record: eight digits and a check character, a digit or X. SUDOC bibliographic records have PPNs of the same form, so a column of PPNs can hold either.
