# French EV charging station or point id (AFIREV) (`fr_irve_id`)

Identifier of an electric vehicle charging station or charging point in France, built on the operator id assigned by AFIREV: FR, a three-character operator code, P for a station (id_station_itinerance) or E for a charging point (id_pdc_itinerance), and up to 30 letters and digits. The parts may be separated by asterisks (FR*S56*E...). The consolidated IRVE dataset on data.gouv.fr uses it.
