Meter Point Administration Number, also called the supply number, which identifies an exit point of the electricity network in Great Britain. The 13-digit core has a 2-digit distributor id, 10 digits for the meter point and a check digit: the first twelve digits are multiplied by the primes 3, 5, 7, 13, 17, 19, 23, 29, 31, 37, 41 and 43, and the sum modulo 11 modulo 10 is the check digit. On bills the core is preceded by a top line with the profile class, the meter time switch code and the line loss factor class, which together make the full 21-character number.
