GLobal IDEntifier number of a disaster event, issued at GLIDEnumber.net (run by the Asian Disaster Reduction Center) and used by ReliefWeb, the Red Cross, UNDRR and other humanitarian sites. It has four parts separated by hyphens, a two-letter hazard code (EQ earthquake, FL flood, TC tropical cyclone, DR drought, EP epidemic and 23 more), the year, a six-digit sequence number and the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 code of the affected country, or --- when no country code applies. One event that hits several countries gets one number per country with the same hazard, year and sequence.
