Code of a statistical rectangle of the International Council for the Exploration of the Sea (ICES), a grid of 30 minutes of latitude by 1 degree of longitude used to report catches and surveys in the North-East Atlantic. Two digits number the row from 01 at 36°N northwards; a letter and a digit name the column from A0, without A4 to A9 and without the letter I, up to M8.
