Codice destinatario, the 7-character code of the channel on which the Sistema di Interscambio (SdI) of the Agenzia delle Entrate delivers electronic invoices between private parties (FatturaPA format FPR12). SdI assigns it to businesses and intermediaries, such as accounting software, that have an accredited reception channel. The value 0000000 is used when the invoice goes to a PEC address or the channel is unknown, and XXXXXXX for invoices to customers not established in Italy. Invoices to public administrations carry the 6-character office code it_cuu in the same field.
