# e-Stat time axis code (`jp_estat_time_code`)

Ten-digit code of the time axis (時間軸) in statistics tables of e-Stat, the portal of official statistics of Japan, and in data downloaded from its API. The first four digits are the Gregorian year, the remaining digits the period within it.
