PhilSys Number, the permanent 12-digit number that the Philippine Statistics Authority generates at random for each person registered in the Philippine Identification System. It is confidential, is microprinted on the back of the PhilID card and should not be used in everyday transactions, where the PhilSys Card Number is used instead.
