Four-digit code of a substance that pollutes ambient air, from the handbook "Перечень и коды веществ, загрязняющих атмосферный воздух" of the НИИ Атмосфера institute. The first two digits are the group of substances and the last two the number within the group, so codes keep their leading zero (0301 nitrogen dioxide, 0330 sulphur dioxide). The codes are used in emission inventories, emission standards and the statistical form 2-ТП (воздух), which also has summary codes such as 0001 for all pollutants and 8888 for other substances. A bare four-digit number: recognize it only with column context.
