Federal number of the identification device (ear tag, bolus, chip) of a farm animal registered in the Rosselkhoznadzor system Horriot under Government Decree No. 550 of 05.04.2023. As published by Rosselkhoznadzor it has 11 characters, RU, the digit 1 for individual or 2 for group identification, seven lowercase Latin letters or digits (digits only for numbers issued before May 2021) and a check digit computed over the first ten characters. Electronic devices may carry a 15-digit numeric form starting with 643, which this record does not cover.
