State registration number of a legal act of a Russian region in the federal register of regulatory legal acts of the regions, kept by the Ministry of Justice and published at pravo-search.minjust.ru. It is RU, a two-digit region code, three digits (000 in almost all numbers), a four-digit year and a five-digit sequence number. The region code is the register's own: for most regions it equals the constitutional number of the region, but not for regions formed after 2004 (Perm Krai 90, Kamchatka Krai 91, Zabaykalsky Krai 92, Crimea 93, Sevastopol 94) and for Bashkortostan (03), Buryatia (04) and the Altai Republic (02). Some sources write the prefix in lower case.
