Number of a character in Unicode, written in the notation of the Unicode Standard: U+ and four to six uppercase hexadecimal digits, with leading zeros only up to four digits, in the range U+0000 to U+10FFFF. Wikidata property P4213 and Unicode tables write the digits without the U+ prefix; the regexp requires it, because four bare hexadecimal digits look like any number. Lowercase forms such as u+00e9 occur in data but are not the standard notation.
