Code of an OTC derivative product, such as an interest rate swap with given terms, used in regulatory reporting. The Derivatives Service Bureau (DSB) assigns it. It identifies the product, not a single trade (a trade has a unique transaction identifier). ISO 4914 defines 12 characters - the prefix QZ, nine characters and a check character - made of digits and uppercase consonants; the vowels A, E, I, O, U and the letter Y are not used. The check character is not verified here. Not to be confused with the Indian Unified Payments Interface ID (in_upi_id).
