Six-digit code of the US Standard Occupational Classification, maintained by the Office of Management and Budget and the SOC Policy Committee of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, with a hyphen after the second digit. The 23 major groups are the odd numbers from 11 to 55; the ending of the code shows the level, from major group (xx-0000) to detailed occupation. The format is the same in the 2010 and 2018 editions.
