Recovery phrase of a cryptocurrency wallet as defined by BIP 39: 12, 15, 18, 21 or 24 words from a fixed list of 2048 words, where the last word also carries a checksum of the entropy. The phrase, with an optional passphrase, gives the wallet seed from which BIP-32 keys are derived, so whoever knows it controls the wallet. The regexp covers the English word list (lower-case words of 3 to 8 letters separated by single spaces); BIP 39 also has word lists for other languages.
