Identifier of a digital token (a native cryptocurrency or a token issued on another blockchain) under ISO 24165, assigned by the Digital Token Identifier Foundation (DTIF) and listed in its public registry. It has 9 characters: an 8-character random base made of digits and consonants (no vowels and no Y, the first character is never 0) and a check character. The check character follows Annex A of ISO 24165-1, but codes registered before the algorithm keep their original check character, so no checksum is enforced here. DTIs identify crypto-assets in financial and regulatory reporting.
