Number of the registration certificate, or the register entry, of a mass media outlet in Russia (свидетельство о регистрации СМИ), recorded by Roskomnadzor in the register of registered mass media. It gives the form of the outlet, the registering office and a sequence number. The forms are ПИ for a printed periodical, ЭЛ for an online periodical, a TV or a radio channel, and ИА for a news agency. ФС 77 marks the central office, and ТУ with a region code a territorial office. Spacing, the dash and the case of Эл vary. Certificates of the 1990s and early 2000s may use forms that the regexp does not accept.
