Two-digit code of a federal subject of Russia, numbered in the order of the list of subjects in the Constitution, such as 05 for Dagestan or 77 for Moscow. The register of cultural heritage objects (ЕГРОКН) uses these codes for regions and as the first two digits of its registration numbers.
