Reporting period in SDMX statistical data and metadata, written as a four-digit year, a hyphen, a period letter and a number: A1 for the year, S1-S2 for half-years, T1-T3 for four-month trimesters, Q1-Q4 for quarters, M01-M12 for months, W01-W53 for weeks and D001-D366 for days, with an optional time zone (Z, +hh:mm or -hh:mm). Periods count from the start of the reporting year, 1 January unless a reporting year start day is given, and the year is the year in which the reporting year begins. The SDMX time period (TIME_PERIOD) may also hold Gregorian values such as 2024, 2024-01 or 2024-01-15, date-times and time ranges; those are the datatypes year, yearmonth, date and datetime.
