Position written in the Military Grid Reference System of NATO, which is based on UTM. It is a grid zone designator (a UTM zone number from 1 to 60 and a latitude band letter from C to X without I and O), a two-letter identifier of a 100 km square, and an even number of digits, up to ten, that give the easting and then the northing within the square: four digits locate a 1 km square, ten digits a 1 m square. Spaces between the parts are optional. The regexp does not cover the polar regions, which use the UPS form with bands A, B, Y and Z.
